Is it correct that linking a task (by coping or pushing) results in a duplicate task with a new ID?

So it's possible to link tasks, but progress information etc. entered from the task on the roadmap is not routed to the original task?

    Hey Maik,

Exactly, you are correct. As you copy/push the task, it's assigned with a new ID. And yes, there is no automation between the linked tasks located on different boards, so the changes applied to one of the tasks won't be displayed in another

    Thanks for your fast response.

So does this differ from pushing tasks from a Backlog to a Sprint board?

    Hi Maik,

    Sorry to keep you waiting!

When you push tasks from the Backlog to a Sprint board, the tasks change their location, so they belong to a new board. When you link the tasks from other boards to the Roadmap, they still belong to their actual board, not the Roadmap.
